I know. I've been bad at updating the blog :D

My brother left me 10 days ago and now I'm more into my normal routine again...

Since my last post I have had my first cross country meet, played the first golf tournament of the season and done some other fun things :)

I will post pictures and be better on updating in the future. Take care for now...

Golfing and working....hahaha

Have had so much to do lately. Anyways, we have started painting now. Johan is really good at what he is doing. I'm feeding him with different kind of food everyday, and not forget; beer!

Today I got a new pair of running shoes, inlays, and the best socks on the market according to the seller in store. I think I might been his most annoying customer that he have had in a while. However I got great shoes now. I tested them of during the evening when I took a 5 mile/8km run :)

Now I'm about to hit the bed!

Labor day! Brother arrived!

Started out the day with a practice with Chuck. Stayed there for a few hours. Hit many balls and probably the same amount of short game shots :)

Changed a little bit in the steepness of the swing. More "into" the ball - leads to a crisper contact. I also changed my bunker technique a little bit. In addition to this I improved my take away so it leads to more consistency. There was a storm passing through close the Marino Lakes while I was playing, luckily there wasn't any rain falling. It's really strange how it can be down here in Florida during the days, close to 100F sometimes.

After practicing for 4 hours I headed down to Miami to pick up my brother!

Johan arrives at Miami International Airport. He comments - They have to ask 45000 questions before they let you in to this country. Hahahaha


Then we drove on the Ocean Drive close to Miami Beach!

On they way home we had to drive through a thunderstorm with really heavy rain! We couldn't go faster than 30 miles/hour. Insane!

Now I'm going for a run. Johan have just passed out :) That's understandable since he's been up for about 22 hours!

Haven't been productive today. The only really good thing I've done today is to restore the headlights on my car. They look so nice now!

Saturday

Nice day at Dyer Park, where we do running.
Had cross country practice in the morning. Sweet to run without a shirt and the sun is shining. Got pretty tired after pushing it a little bit. Made myself an omelet and then headed to the golfcourse together with Pete & Scott.

It was ridiculously hot out at the golfcourse. Nearly 100 degrees! Anyways, we hit a bucket of balls and then went out for 9 holes. We played a point game where every hole had 9 points. Best score got 6 points and second best score got the 3 other points. If there was a tie the points were divided between the players who tied. It was a close game. I won on the last hole with just a margin of 1 point! It was a good game and it forces you to concentrate a little bit more when playing.

On our way back home we stopped at campus to watch the womens soccer game. The girls won with 2-1 in OT. Congratulation!

The rest of the day I just chilled. Took it really easy....

No golf!

Woke up around 9;30 and headed to Supercuts to cut my hair a little bit. Worked out well cuz there was no people there so I didn't have to wait a second. From there I went to EmbroidMe to see if they could embroid my golfbag which the couldn't. While I was out I took the chance to wash my car. It got sooo shiny and nice again!

Got home where Jacques, Pete and Elrick was waiting to leave. Left home after eating and headed to Edwin Watts where we picked up some accessories. Then down to Fountains where we just got to warm up before the horns for thunder and lightening went off - which left us waiting for a while until we realized it would stay in the area for too long.

We went home and cooked chicken teriyaki with rice. It was nice and now we've just been chilling.

Thursday - Golf

During Thursday I had classes in the AM and during the afternoon we/team headed out to Fountains to play one of the qualifying rounds.

Here's today scores, Par 71, 6800 yards: Peter 71, Brett and I (Adam) 74, Elrick 75, Zac and John 77, Andy 77, Scott 80, Juan & Jacques 81.

Had a really hot putter today and had a good time with the teammates Zac, John and Juan!

Wednesday & Tuesday

During Tuesday I got in some practice after I was done with classes. It was just a short practice because I'm tutoring in accounting during the evening. On my way home I got to know I could pick up a couch that I was interested in.

So I was really stressed. Went home, ate really fast, went to Walgreen's to pick up something, headed to Uhaul to rent a trailer and then I hurried to school to start tutoring.

Done with tutoring around 9:15 pm. There was about 30 students during the 2 hours that I had the group study.

Then, of course it was dark outside. I didn't have any electrical cords to the trailer so I couldn't drive to pick up the couch. Luckily Jacques helped me out with his car and he also came with me to pick up the couch. Well, we got the couch. Good couch with a recliner on each side, so comfortable:) Anyways, the couch wasn't the only thing we pick up, the trailer ended up with sooooo many other things as well. The 6 x 12 ft trailer was packed! Everything was unloaded by 12:30 and after all the furniture was moved in, Peter and I went to leave the trailer. I think the time was about 1:30am or so before we got home again. Hectic day, many things got done!

Had a short night's sleep. Went up a little bit earlier on Wednesday to prepare for a test in history. After all classes, I headed to practice together with Peter and Juan. Great guys! Played bestball-match together with Juan against Peter and John. Juan and I beat Peter and John on our last hole, it was a tight match with some nice putts :D. You got it!

On the way home from practice we stopped to wash Peter's car. Then we ate and headed for the gym. Had a good workout and many of the other golfers were there, so it was good. Now I'm home and about to hit the bed! Have a good one! More pictures soon.
